🤩SALES MANAGER
Drive performance, inspire your team and play a key role in delivering growth by leading a high‑performing sales function within Careline365.
🕰️Hours: 37.5 hours per week
📅Shift pattern: 5 days per week across Monday to Sunday, between 8:00 and 20:00, but you'll be working largely core hours.
💸Salary: Up to £45,000 pa dependant on experience, plus up to £6,000 pa OTE.
📍Location: Norwich-Hybrid (3 days in office pw)
📆Start Date: August/September 2026

We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded and inspirational Sales Department Manager to lead and develop multiple sales functions across Careline365.
This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for up to five direct reports and overall accountability for the performance, development and strategic direction of our Inbound Sales, Outbound Sales, Retention, Business Development and Customer Value Management teams.
You will be responsible for translating business objectives into clear operational plans, creating and executing sales strategies that drive sustainable growth, and ensuring every team is aligned to the wider organisational vision. Whilst this role offers significant autonomy, success will depend on balancing independent strategic thinking with the ability to operate within the company's agreed direction, priorities and values.
As a visible leader, you will inspire high performance through effective coaching, strong stakeholder management and a relentless focus on customer outcomes, commercial performance and continuous improvement.
This opportunity would suit an experienced sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at managing managers, and is comfortable influencing at both operational and strategic levels.

😍 THE ROLE
As Sales Department Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple revenue-generating functions, including Inbound Sales, Outbound Sales, Retention, Business Development and Customer Value Management.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing and delivering departmental sales strategies aligned to company objectives
Leading, coaching and developing a team of Team Managers and departmental leaders
Creating a high-performance culture focused on results, accountability and customer experience
Driving revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention performance and customer lifetime value
Owning departmental forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting
Identifying opportunities for commercial growth through market, customer and competitor insights
Ensuring effective succession planning, talent development and recruitment across the department
Working cross-functionally to ensure sales activity supports wider business objectives
Using data and management information to drive decision-making and operational improvements
Establishing clear performance frameworks, objectives and governance across all teams
Leading transformational change and embedding new ways of working
Presenting performance updates, recommendations and business cases to senior leadership
Ensuring all teams remain aligned to the company's strategic priorities and direction
Taking ownership of departmental performance while proactively identifying risks and opportunities
Operating with a high degree of autonomy whilst working within agreed business frameworks and objectives
👀 WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Essential
Significant experience in a sales leadership role
Experience managing managers and leading multiple teams simultaneously
Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies
Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness
Demonstrable experience driving performance improvement in a target-driven environment
Experience operating within a contact centre, direct-to-consumer or telesales environment
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Ability to work independently, make decisions and take ownership of business outcomes
Experience developing leaders and building high-performing management teams
Ability to align operational delivery with wider company strategy and objectives
Desirable
Experience leading Inbound Sales, Outbound Sales, Retention or Customer Value functions
Experience within subscription, healthcare, telecare or regulated service environments
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
Advanced Excel and reporting skills
Experience leading large-scale business change or transformation programmes
