👇ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for a highly organised, analytical Compliance Manager who can turn complex requirements into practical, auditable ways of working. You’ll have experience in a compliance, audit or process‑driven role, with a proven ability to document how work is really done and embed proportionate, usable processes with stakeholders at all levels. Strong communication, delivery focus and attention to detail are essential, along with a willingness to travel regularly to Norwich and New Milton.
ESSENTIAL
Experience in a structured, analytical or process‑driven role (e.g. compliance, audit, risk, consulting, operations or similar).
Proven ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into clear, structured and auditable workflows.
Demonstrable experience capturing and documenting operational processes, including SOPs, process maps or work instructions.
Confidence facilitating workshops and working sessions to extract knowledge and turn it into clear, controlled documentation.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self‑directed, delivery‑focused and comfortable managing competing priorities with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to create order from complexity.
Willingness and ability to travel regularly to Norwich and New Milton (typically every 2–4 weeks).
DESIRABLE
Experience working in a regulated or service‑led environment (e.g. technology, telecare, health, housing or infrastructure).
Exposure to or training in formal frameworks such as ISO standards, ESG reporting, health & safety, information governance or audit.
Experience supporting internal or external audits and maintaining structured evidence libraries.
Confidence using modern digital tools, including Microsoft 365 and AI‑enabled solutions, to improve efficiency and quality.
✅THE ROLE
The Compliance Manager will lead the operational delivery of compliance across the Group, acting as the central point for audit‑ready evidence, documentation and processes. The role spans ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001, TSA and CHAS accreditations, data protection, ESG reporting, health & safety and wider compliance frameworks.
A key focus will be embedding clear, proportionate and auditable ways of working by identifying gaps in existing processes and working with teams to document and standardise how compliance is delivered in practice.
An immediate priority is to take ownership of internal ISO preparation and audit activity as the Group transitions away from external consultant support, while also supporting governance through risk and policy coordination, senior briefing materials and escalation of high‑risk issues.
🗝️KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and coordinate compliance activity across ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001, TSA, CHAS and Health & Safety, ensuring audits, evidence and corrective actions are managed and on track.
Support data protection, information governance and ESG reporting by coordinating workflows, maintaining documentation and preparing draft materials.
Maintain compliance policies, registers, calendars and governance frameworks, ensuring cyclical reviews and renewals are completed.
Work with teams to identify gaps in processes and controls, capturing clear, auditable documentation (process maps, SOPs and work instructions).
Coordinate risk and incident registers, track actions and escalate issues where required.
Act as a central compliance partner across the business, preparing updates and briefing materials for senior leadership and governance forums.
